Started my career as a project engineer in the air-conditioning industry and then moved to the IT industry. I had worked as an IT consultant in various projects involving software application development, system migration, Y2K problem, web design and 3D virtual reality.
My interest in information access and digital divide embarked me on a project to initiate web accessibility guidelines and standards. I also had the opportunity to conduct the Web accessibility Audit & Certify the Ministry of Community Youth and Sports (MCYS) website for ‘AAA’ compliance. Later involved in the training and technical support of library management system.
Through instructional service programs, I aim to equip the library users with the necessary skills to aid information seeking and research as well.
