Subject Librarian for Engineering Mechanics & Thermal and Fluids Engineering :
- Develop library collection
- Select library materials for procurement or subscription
- Coordinate subject resources
- Act as liaison person for Engineering Mechanics and Thermal & Fluids Engineering Divisions in School of Mechanical & Production Engineering.
Operational Responsibilities :
- Coordinate library serials operations including budget allocation, identification, ordering, receipt, claiming, binding etc
- Negotiate and maintain licenses for access to electronic resources
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for subscriptions to journals, standing orders and electronic resources
- Coordinate the dissemination of new serials notifications (print and electronic) and online databases to subject librarians and other appropriate channels
