Subject Librarian for Chemistry:

  • Develop library collection
  • Select library materials for procurement or subscription
  • Coordinate subject resources
  • Provide instruction on literature searching and information skills training in subject areas
  • Provide consultation, reference and advisory services on information searching and resources

Operational Responsibilities :

  • Manage database system and network access to e-resources 
  • Manage and maintain library web pages, VOD and photo archives
  • Provide systems support and technical assistance for library projects

About Myself :

I have been working in the IT (Information Technology) and Library environment for several years. I was involved in several projects ranging from setting up a computer laboratory, web design, electronic resource acquisitions and access, referencing, user training and digital rights management. I am happily married and I love to spend time with family and friends. I like to read, play computer games and be in touch with new technologies.
