Operational Responsibilities :

  1. Support the University Librarian to oversee the operations and development of libraries in the university.

Work Experience :

Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Isabella came to NTU by way of NUS Libraries and UNSW Asia Library Services of which she was Director. The challenge of founding a new university library lured her from UNSW, Sydney where she had worked in senior positions in the Library in services and general management, personnel, staff development and collection development and acquisitions. Her early career was with the National Library of Australia, Canberra, principally in cataloguing and reference in the Orientalia section. Along the way she had taught aspects of librarianship from para-professional to higher degree levels and in continuing education. She had given conference papers, locally and abroad, facilitated seminars, served on professional and academic committees and task forces and published in a range of professional areas.

  3. Personnel management and staff training and development
  4. Learning and teaching and information literacy
