Subject Librarian for Business Law :

  • Develop library collection for Business Law
  • Select library materials for procurement or subscription
  • Coordinate subject resources
  • Provide instruction on literature searching and information skills training in subject areas
  • Provide consultation, reference and advisory services on information searching and resources
  • Act as library liaison person to Division of Business Law in Nanyang Business School

Operational Responsibilities :

  • Assist Head ISD in developing strategies for implementing campus-wide Information Literacy Programmes
  • Work with faculty staff and subject librarians on Library Instructional Services
  • Train students, research scholars and staff of the university with skills for their information search
  • Plan and conduct workshops on software used in information search and preference
  • Perform Research Assistance Desk Duties

  • Information literacy
  • Psycholinguistics & FLA/SLA theories
  • Intercultural communication

About Myself :

  • Prior to joining NTU Library, I had been teaching English Language and Literature and Communication for several years, including 2 years at a private university in the countryside of Japan, in Niigata (home of the Albirex Niigata Football Club).
  • I enjoy reading (surprise!), sports (spectator) and outdoor pursuits (hiking and scuba diving).
