Operational Responsibilities :  

Bibliographic Services Division

  1. Responsible for management of the Bibliographic Services Division (BSD) which oversees the creation and maintenance of metadata for NTU library materials in various formats in the library management system and institutional repositories.
      
  2. Oversee processes that enable library users to find and browse books, e-books and DR-NTU documents systematically and easily using the library catalogue and other finding tools. 

Facilities Planning Division

  1. Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing all library building and renovation projects.
     
  2. Monitor users’ needs for library space and accommodation of library collections and resources. 
     

Work Experience :

Su Nee joined NTU Library as a trainee librarian in 1999 after working for 3 years as a management trainee and business development executive. She left in 2001 to work as a lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic where she taught cataloguing to diploma students in both full-time and part-time programmes. Three years later in 2004, she rejoined NTU Library as Senior Cataloguing Librarian. In 2005, she took on the additional role as Facilities Planning Coordinator as well as subject librarian for Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing and Engineering Management. In 2009, she was appointed as Head of Bibliographic Services Division and also Head of Library Facilities Planning Division. She served as Vice President of the Information & Knowledge Management Society of Singapore in 2005-2006.
