Subject Librarian for Biological Sciences :
- Develop library collection for allocated subject areas
- Select library materials for procurement or subscription
- Coordinate subject resources
- Provide instruction on literature searching and information skills training in subject areas
- Provide consultation, reference and advisory services on information searching and resources
- Act as the library liaison person for the School of Biological Sciences.
Operational Responsibilities :
- Manage circulation and access services
- Management of loans
- Maintain the Reserves Collection
- Oversee the management of library facilities
- Plan and coordinate interlibrary loan cooperation among local and foreign libraries
Areas of Interests :
- Language acquisition in the early years
- Collection development
- Speed reading
About Myself :
I have two daughters – Cassey and Charlotte. I enjoy trying different methods/activities to develop their language skills. When I’m able to find time, I love to read, watch movies and listen to new age music.
