Subject librarian responsibilities :
- Develop library collection and subject resources to support learning needs and increase quality research output.
- Develop and conduct information literacy training and subject tutorials to help students become proficient information seekers and users.
- Provide consultation, reference and advisory services on information searching and resources.
- Act as library liaison person to Division of Strategy, Management and Organization in Nanyang Business School.
Operational Responsibilities :
- Responsible for management of the Library Promotion Division (LPD) which oversees promotion and marketing of NTU Libraries and its rich resources to the NTU community.
- Oversees the creation of different promotional channels so that the NTU community is well informed of new resources and services.
Work Experience:
Catherine started her career as a teacher but left to pursue a Master of Library Studies at University of British Columbia. Since completing her studies, she worked as information services manager for various companies and organizations before taking up the Library Promotion role at NTU Library.
