• Develop library collection for Business Law
• Select library materials for procurement or subscription
• Coordinate subject resources
• Provide instruction on literature searching and information skills training in subject areas
• Provide consultation, reference and advisory services on information searching and resources
• Act as library liaison person to Division of Business Law in Nanyang Business School

Operational Responsibilities :

• Manage and administer the Library Management System (LMS - SIRSI Unicorn)
• Manage and administer the LMS integration to third party-products ( 3mSelf-checks, Directors stations, WebOPAC )
• Manage and maintain network & IT infrastructure supporting library resources and services
• Manage and administer Library file services
• Manage and administer system access to Library electronic resources

• E-Resources and Digital Exchange
• Wireless technology, and Information Technology
• Business process re-engineering and entrepreneurship
• Training and development, Online learning

About Myself :

• Into my second stint at NTU as a staff. Joined NTU Library in June 2005.
• Was a staff of NTU , CITS from 1990-1994. I was greatly involved in User Access and training to Library and Information Services. Managing the dial up services, CDROM server, and information services.
• Between 1994 and 2004 , I was in business, running an IT Training and consultancy company. My company was involved in National IT Literacy Programme and community projects in “Bridging the digital divide” from 1997-2003. Also project consultant for SMEs on IT implementation and new business setup.
• I was an Assistant Superintendent , ASP(NS) in my National Service serving at Jurong Police Station , as an OC Strategic Reserve Troop , comprising of 11 Troops of 300 over NSmen. Now, I am voluntarily serving as an Exec Committee member of HomeTeam NS Association, and the HomeTeam NS Entrepreneur Network.
• I like soccer, and shooting. An ardent supporter of Liverpool Football Club. A Marksman in Police Classification Shoot.
• I am married with 4 children. ( 2 boys , 2 gals ).
