About the Division
The Library Technology & Systems Division coordinates and provides for the Library's technology needs and ensures that the library systems are accessible easily and efficiently by our staff and students to support learning, teaching and research needs.
Library IT Student Assistants - 15 positions
Responsibilities
- Technical support for NTU Wi-Fi/LAN access for notebooks, smartphones, ipads etc.
- Technical support for windows and Mac OS issues
- Technical support for Microsoft Office (on Mac and Windows)
- Assist with setting up of projectors on site and connectivity with notebooks.
Requirements
- Experience in the following:
- supporting of Windows and Mac laptops
- installation of software, patches and updates on laptops
- basic troubleshooting of basic network, software and printing problems
- Not working elsewhere in NTU
- Must be committed to work and be responsible
Working Hours
- Must be available to work from 8.30am to 5.45pm on the following dates:
- 14 May 2012
- 28 May 2012
- 4 – 7 Jun 2012
Payment
- Hourly rate : S$7.00 per hour.
- Payment will be on a monthly basis and will be credited via GIRO into specified bank account
