The Enterprise Challenge (TEC)

TEC is a S$10 million fund set-up to provide sponsorship and test-beds to trial-test innovative ideas and to foster pioneering breakthroughs for the Singapore public service.

The purpose of TEC is to encourage creativity, innovation and enterprise among our people, to spark, develop and fund initiatives that can create new value for the Public Service and fundamentally improve the delivery of public service.

TEC also identifies and nurtures some very promising innovative ideas to their fullest potential by providing facilitation resources, and funds for experimentation or trial testing.

1. Anyone who has a proposal that can result in creating new value or significant improvements in the Public Service. Both Singaporean and non-Citizens can participate.
2. Emphasis is on originality, feasibility and the benefits that the innovation would result for the public service and the country.
3. The ideas should be sufficiently developed for trial testing when submitted for funding.
