Training and Attachment Programme (TAP)

TAP aims to help companies build up manpower capabilities and prepare for growth.

EDB will fund the training, both in Singapore and abroad, of engineers and other professionals to create a ready pool of trained manpower for companies.

Training of up to 12 months will be conducted at the local facilities of Singapore-based companies, or in collaboration with universities and government research institutes and centres. Training may also be conducted, for up to 18 months, at the overseas facilities of training partners.

The programme is open to science and engineering polytechnic and university graduates who are Singaporeans or Singapore permanent residents.

Trainees can acquire skills in cutting-edge technology in the area of engineering, science and IT capabilities, in relation to R&D, product development and new high value-added production projects which companies plan to implement.
