TechnoGarage 

Objectives

 

The objectives of establishing the TechnoGarage are:

 

  • The space at the TechnoGarage are offered to NTU students at a subsidised rate to help them develop their ideas towards commercialisation. Students from different Schools are encouraged to form a team to work together on an idea or innovation. The application shall be on a team basis instead of as an individual.

 

  • The 6-month period of use offered to NTU students helps to motivate them to accelerate the progress of their work. Nonetheless, they can apply for an extension of another 6 months if they require more time to work on their ideas.

 

 

Note:

The TechnoGarage is to be used solely by NTU students for the research and development of  their ideas/innovations. Commercial and business operations are prohibited. Teams who have started business operations are required to move on to the Innovation Centre (the University’s business incubator) or to external business incubators. This is to give other aspiring student entrepreneurs a chance to enjoy the benefits of the TechnoGarage.
