What to pack

• a valid passport and any other necessary travel document
• air, train or bus ticket
• the original letter of offer of admission from NTU
• original copies of educational certificates, examination results slips and other documents submitted in support of your application for admission (for verification during registration)
• cash of at least $3,000 (in small denominations) for initial expenses, excluding tuition fees and housing
• funds to pay housing rental upon arrival
• prescribed medicine and a letter from your doctor explaining what they are
• personal items such as toiletries, a bath towel, bed sheets, pillow cases, an alarm clock, a three-pin plug, utensils (e.g., fork, spoon, plate, etc)
• some recent colour passport-sized photographs
  These must:
  • - be taken within the last three months
  • - be taken against a white background with a matt or semi-matt finish
  • - show the full face and be taken without headgear (headgear worn in accordance with religious or racial
      customs is acceptable but must not hide facial features)
• clothes and footwear
• formal wear and your national costume for formal occasions or special events
• sports equipment
• laptop if you have no intention of purchasing one in Singapore
