Applying for an Entry Visa
Spouses and children of full-time graduate students from visa-required countries who wish to visit Singapore may apply for an Entry Visa at a Singapore mission in their home country. After they arrive in Singapore and if required, ISC will assist with the extension of their Social Visit Pass.
Extending the Social Visit Pass
You may approach ISC for assistance in preparing a letter of support for the application to extend the Social Visit Pass of your spouse and children. Please submit the following documents at ISC:

Graduate students on NTU research scholarships who wish to bring their children to Singapore must furnish ISC with an endorsement from their supervisor/ school that the arrival and presence of their children will not affect their research activities. Students pursuing graduate coursework are exempted from this requirement as they are self-funding.
ISC will contact you when the letter of support is ready for collection. You and the witness you are required to provide must sign the Sponsorship Form at ISC.
Submit ISC’s letter of support with your application at ICA. Your spouse and children must be present. If approved, ICA will decide on the period of extension. If this exceeds six months, your spouse and children must undergo a medical examination.
Note:
Nationals of the People’s Republic of China who wish to visit Singapore as independent tourists should approach selected tour agencies in China that are authorised by the Singapore Government to arrange for visas (please contact the Singapore Tourism Board in China). Travellers who apply for visas through these tour agencies will not be required to put down a security deposit although the tour agencies have the discretion to decide on a case-by-case basis whether an applicant is still required to place a deposit.
