Medical examinations for international students

International students studying or pursuing attachments of more than six months must pass a medical examination including tests for the Human Immuno-deficiency Virus (HIV) and Tuberculosis (TB) before they can be issued a Student’s Pass or a Training Employment Pass. These tests must be conducted at the NTU Medical Centre.

Upon satisfactory completion of the medical examination, the NTU Medical Centre will issue you a medical report which you may submit with your application for the Student’s Pass/ TEP.

Should you fail the medical examination, you will not be admitted to the University and must return home at your own expense.

International undergraduate students should refer to the ‘Admissions Handbook for Freshmen’ for the medical examination schedule. They are also advised to note the information on special medical conditions before selecting their programme of study.

International graduate students and exchange/ non-graduating students pursuing attachments at NTU exceeding six months will be given an appointment for their medical examinations.
