Poster Presentation



Presentation of a poster provides an opportunity for effective exchange and communication of scientific ideas and methodologies.

Closing date for poster submission is 01 May 2017

Accepted Poster title will be published on 15 May 2017

Guidelines for a successful poster presentation:

  1. Your poster must correspond to the title and content of your abstract submission.

  1. The presentation should be jargon free and understandable by the general audience as well as the experts.

  1. Plan your poster to be in logical sequence, i.e. introduction, study design and methods, data collected, conclusion.

  1. Put up your poster by Monday (05 June 2017). Kindly note that you should print and bring your own poster.

  1. The poster should preferably be of A1 size, with materials that can be mounted easily with Velcro tape.

  1. Posters should be designed for easy reading from a 3' to 4' distance.

  1. To ensure visual effectiveness of your poster, use large lettering and a minimum of text.

  1. Use of colours can visually enhance your poster.

  1. Remove your poster at the end of the workshop on Thursday (08 June 2017).

  1. A-V is not allowed in poster sessions - posters should be displayed using effective printed visuals.
