The Tsinghua-NTU workshop on Nanoscience is the second joint workshop between Tsinghua University, China and the Nanyang Technological University (the first between the Joint Tsinghua-NTU workshop on Discrete Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science). The workshop aims to establish closer research collaborations between the two universities through a series of Joint Workshops. This series of workshops was initiated by the Faculty of Science, Tsinghua University in China and the Institute of Advanced Studies at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Nanoscience concerns the study of matter at ultra small scale. It has become a vibrant interdisciplinary research area over the last few years with diverse applications in numerous fields ranging from physics to medicine to engineering to chemistry. This Workshop aims to provide a platform for active researchers at Tsinghua University to interact with their counterparts at the Nanyang Technological University.
