Structure and timetable of the Les Houches Summer School in Singapore

(29 June – 24 July 2009)

The «Les Houches Summer School in Singapore» consists of two sub-sessions, one on quantum degenerate gases (46h) and one on quantum information (46h). The total duration of the session is thus 92h. Each sub-session will contain four 10h-long lectures, given during week 1 and week 2 of the School, adressing the fundamentals and basic concepts in the field. These lectures will be supplemented by shorter lectures on dedicated topics of importance in the field.

4 Fundamental courses (10h):

- Quantum Information (QI): Valerio Scarani (CQT, National University of Singapore, Singapore).
  QI Lecture NotesQI Tutorials.

- Quantum Computing and Entanglement (QC): Dagmar Bruss (University of Düsseldorf, Germany) and Chiara Macchiavello (University of Pavia, Italy).

- Degenerate Bosons (DB): David Guéry-Odelin (LCAR, University of Toulouse, France).
DB Lecture 1,  DB Lecture 2, DB Lecture 3, DB Lecture 4, DB Lecture 5.
