Professor Salk is a Professor of Physics at the Korea Institute for Advanced Study and a Vice President of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology. Professor Salk is a well known theoretician who specializes in many areas of physics, including Classical and Quantum Phase Transitions in High Tc Superconductivity, Strongly Correlated Electron Systems; Gauge Theory and Quantum Field Theory; Low Dimensional Physics; Nanoscience and Chemical Physics. Professor Salk has more than 500 publications in leading international journals.
