Research Fellow:
A
post-doctoral fellow position in experimental spintronics
research is available immediately.
The
appointment is initially for one year with a possibility of renewal for another
year.
Candidate
with experience in the following areas is preferred:
· Ultrahigh
vacuum molecular beam epitaxy and sputtering
deposition techniques
· Magneto-optical
Kerr measurement techniques
· Cleanroom microfabrication
A
qualified PhD degree in Physics, Engineering, or Material Science is required.
We
are seeking a motivated candidate with team spirit and ability for independent
work.

Graduate Student:
PhD research opportunities are
available at the Spintronics Device Laboratory,
School of Physical
and
Mathematical Sciences (Physics Division), Nanyang
Technological University, Singapore.
Students will have opportunity to
work on the topics of micro- and nanofabrication, spin transport, nanoscale magnetism,
ultrahigh
vacuum thin film deposition, and optical and electrical characterisation
of novel spintronic devices.
Several full scholarships are
available for qualified students. Entry requirements include a Bachelor's
degree in physics,
engineering, or
materials science, GRE and TOEFL results. Proficiency in spoken and written
English is also required.
