Research Interests: Innovative uses of mechanical micro-machining; solar cell manufacturing; aerospace polishing processes; surface texturing.

I am particularly interested in creation and modification of new surfaces. Surface creation is responsible for finish and dimensional/form tolerances, while surface modification can enhance functionality.
