Dr Lin Rong Ming is an Associate Professor of Engineering Mechanics Division, School of Mechanical & Production Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. He is the supervisor of Mechanics of Micro-Systems Laboratory.

Research Interests

These include modal testing and analysis; mathematical modelling of structural vibrations via experimental measurements and finite element analysis; vibration analysis of complex, non-stationary and non-linear structures; structural vibration control using visco-elastic and piezoelectric materials. Dynamics and vibration problems in computer hard disk drives. Development of MEMS sensors and actuators for vibration and acoustic applications.
