- The National Weather Sensor Grid project was highlighted by Dr. Rick Rashid, Senior Vice President, Microsoft Corporation, in his keynote speech during the Computing in the 21st Century Conference organized by Microsoft Research Asia, 7 Nov 2008.
- Intellisys collaborates with the Water & Energy Research Lab in the NTU School of EEE, to participate in the NRF-funded Competitive Research Programme (CRP) on
"Combined-Cycle Solar Energy Self-Sustaining Membrane Distillation (MD) and Membrane Distillation Bioreactor (MDBR) Water Production and Recycling System". 1 Nov 2008.
- Intellisys has been awarded a research grant under the NRF's R&D Programme on IDM in Education for the project entitled "Enhancing Education in Environmental Awareness: A Game-based Approach to Ambient Learning". This project leverages the core sensor grid infrastructure developed by the National Weather Sensor Grid project.
