Framework Implementation of Design and Optimization of Ultra-Small Transistors

This project is directed towards the implementation of a framework for the Design and Optimization of Ultra-Small Transistors (DOUST). The Project DOUST has been under development with the aim of bridging technology developers and circuit designers through nanoscale transistor compact modeling and correlation to next generation technologies. The proposed project will help in the implementation of such a framework, from which the students will be exposed to device physics and operation, design of experiment, and CAD tool development. Knowledge and interest in device physics and mathematics as well as C programming will help.
