Dr. Sun has received the
Prestigious
Engineering Achievement
Award 2008 from Institute of Engineering Singapore (IES) for his excellence in
pilot study of water quality improvement and membrane fouling control
using nanostrucutred TiO2 mesoporous microsphere at
Choa Chu Kang (CCK) Waterworks.

Dr Sun has received the Nanyang Award for
Innovation and Research 2009 from NTU on 2 Feb 2010 for his excellence
research in fabricating flexible multifunctional TiO2 nanostructured
