| A*STAR Public Service Fund 2008 Grant Call Review |
| Together with a colleague, we represented Data Storage Institute in the Public Service Fund 2008 Grant Call Review process. Every year, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) will call for proposals from Singapore education institutions. These proposals were then sent to different research institutes. My work included reading through these proposals and deciding which international reviewers were suitable for reviewing them. I then had to seek their consent to review these proposals. Additionally, I acted as a liaison between A*STAR and these international reviewers. |
| Science ’06 / X-periment |
| Involved in the Science ’06 / X-periment exhibition jointly organised by A*STAR and Singapore Science Centre. I was part of the team representing Data Storage Institute and we exhibited how heat can be visualized that cannot be normally seen with naked eyes by using Schlieren graph techniques and infra-red camera. |
