Dr. SUN Aixin is an Associate Professor with School of Computer Engineering (SCE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He received B.A.Sc (1st class honours) and Ph.D. from the same school in 2001 and 2004 respectively. He was a Postdoc Fellow with School of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. Aixin's research interests include Information Retrieval, Text/Web Mining, Social Computing, Multimedia, and Digital Libraries. His papers appear in major international conferences and journals in the related areas including SIGIR, WSDM, Multimedia, CIKM, JCDL, ICDM, TKDE, DSS, JASIST, and IP&M. Aixin has been a PC member of many data mining/information retrieval conferences including SIGIR, KDD, CIKM, Multimedia, WSDM, and reviewer for journals and IEEE/ACM transactions. He is a member of the SONAR (SOcial aNAlytics Research) group at DISCO lab.
