One Research Fellow Position

 

We are inviting highly qualified candidates to apply for the above-mentioned position, for a period of 1 year (with the possibility of extending to 1.5 years), in the field of Digital Signal Processing (preferably in array signal processing/deconvolution). The research team is led by Asst. Prof. Andy W. H. Khong and this project is supported by the Ministry of Defense, Singapore. Overseas nationals are most welcomed to apply.

 
 

Job Description:

 

You will conduct leading-edge research in the field of digital signal processing particularly in the area of seismic deconvolution for project SENTIA. You will be largely responsible for the development of deconvolution algorithms for enahancement of seismic signals for footstep and vehicular detection as well as for bearing estimation. You will be co-leading a team of two Ph.D. students and is expected to publish our works in top-tier journals.

 
 

Job Requirements:

 
 

1)

Good honors in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering

 

2)

Ph.D. in digital signal processing; preferably in array signal processing/deconvolution

 

3)

Excellent track record in terms of top-tier journal publications

 

4)

Fluent in both verbal and written English

 

5)

Able to work independently and co-lead a team of Ph.D. students

 

6)

Able to participate in outdoor data collection when necessary

 

7)

Highly motivated and able to commit a minimum of 1 year of full-time in the project
