Step 1 - Introduction
Applications from NIE new students are made on the
Hall Application Form (HAF) available in your admission package issued to you upon admission to NIE.
New students are guaranteed admission if they apply by
10 Jul 17 and are randomly assigned a room in a hall.
Specifying a Roommate
You may specify any new student (NIE/NTU) OR senior student who is your sibling (of the same gender) as your roommate. Your prospective roommate must also submit an application, naming you as roommate. You will require your roommate's full name & matric no. or NRIC/Passport no. if you are applying with one.
As a new student, you may indicate your preference for either a single or double room (twin-sharing), aircon or non-aircon room. Assignments to preferred room types are subject to availability from the rooms set aside for new students at each hall. You will be assigned to another room type if your preferred room type is unavailable.
Students under the NTU-NIE Teaching Scholar Programme (TSP) are required to submit an application form. You will be assigned to either Crescent or Pioneer Hall.
Only applications submitted on the official HAF issued to you will be accepted. Please ensure that your Name, NRIC/Passport and Email address are clearly filled in for us to send you an offer of housing.
