The Sports and Recreation Centre caters to the sporting and recreation needs of the university community. We aim to provide a complete learning experience for our students as we believe that participation in competitive sports and recreation activities form an integral part of university education.

 

Sports Facilities Development Updates


New Sports and Recreation Centre
Expected to be ready by 1st quarter 2017, the new Sports and Recreation Centre comes complete with a sports hall with retractable seats, a viewing gallery, activity rooms and a weight training gym for university athletes.  The sports hall is able to cater to 4 badminton courts and 2 basketball/volleyball courts at any one time.

Built using engineering wood system, it is the region’s first environmentally friendly sports building with a unique continuous wave-like timber roof arching over 70 metres long.
