NTU is based in Singapore and is ranked among the top 20 technology universities in the world1. It specialises in science and engineering subjects with a strong focus on research and innovation. Currently, NTU's 2,500 teaching and research staff, hailing from more than 40 countries, serve more than 19,100 undergraduate students and more than 8,600 graduate students at its sprawling garden campus.

Know your programme
The university has 12 schools organised under 4 colleges.
The College of Engineering has six schools focused on technology and innovation, and is one of the world's largest engineering colleges.
The College of Science, consisting of two Schools, runs direct Honours Programmes in physical, chemical, mathematical and biological sciences in Singapore. Besides the direct Honours Programme in Biological Sciences, the School of Biological Sciences also offers a double degree programme in Biomedical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine through our partner the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. The School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences offers direct Honours Programmes in: Chemistry & Biological Chemistry, Mathematical Sciences, Mathematics & Economics, Physics, and Applied Physics.
The Nanyang Business School (College of Business) offers one of the world's top 100 MBA programmes and is the only business school in Singapore and one of only three in Asia to be awarded both the EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) and AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditations' international hallmarks of quality.
The College of Humanities, Arts, & Social Sciences boasts Singapore's first professional art school offering degree courses in art, design and media; a humanities and social sciences school with programmes in English, psychology, sociology and more; and a school of communication and information with programmes in journalism and media.
For undergraduates, NTU offers broad-based education options. This means that you can choose to expand your education by selecting cross-disciplinary programmes. These are called minor programmes and they can be from different schools and colleges.
And that is not all. NTU also offers overseas education options that you can take along with your regular curricular. These global education options give you an opportunity to expand your horizons and stretch your boundaries.
For graduates, NTU offers two types of graduate programmes, by research and by coursework and dissertation leading up to a Masters or a Doctor of Philosophy or a Graduate diploma.

Explore financing options
NTU stands by giving every student the opportunity of a university education. If you become a full-time undergraduate student at NTU, you can avail various financial assistance schemes. These cover financing needs such as tuition fees, living expenses and emergency needs.
NTU also offers a number of scholarships to new as well as existing students pursuing their full time undergraduate studies. Scholarships are awarded are based on academic merit and good co-curricular records.

The hall accommodation options are available once you accept the admissions offer and rooms are randomly allocated. Both undergraduate and graduate students can apply.
| NTU has 16 Halls of Residence on campus housing 9,200 students. All halls have single and double occupancy rooms that can be rented by both male and female students. Rooms are furnished with a desk, desk chair, shelving, bed and wardrobe for each resident. Phone jacks and Ethernet connections are also available in each room. |
