Nature of the programme:
The Work and Study programme consist of 2 components:
Work Component
Academic units will be counted towards the requirements for Industrial Attachment /Professional Attachment /Professional Internship. 10 academic units will be awarded upon successful completion of a 22-week overseas internship.
Study Component
The study component is an essential part of GIP Work and Study that aims to generate interest and develop better understanding of the host country. It compliments the learning process during the students’ attachment with foreign companies. The study component is a specially tailored course that covers topics on culture, economics, contemporary history, politics and language.
Students will be awarded 6 academic units upon the completion of the course. These academic units may be used for either GER-PE (HSS) or GER- UE.
Tuition Fees:
Singaporean or Singapore PR students will be given partial scholarships. They will have to pay a nominal amount for the fees charged by the host universities, in addition to the NTU tuition fees.
International students will be required to pay the full fees charged by the host universities.
