Programme highlights
- Hosted by Beijing Language and Cultural University
- Programme fee is fully sponsored by Hanban via Confucius Institute
- More than 10 educational trips in 3 cities (e.g. Great Wall in Beijing, Shanghai Expo 2010, Shaoxing)
- Classes or seminars conducted in Chinese on the culture, history, politics, economics, arts and/ or language of China
- Participants may be shortlisted to take part in the 10th Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students in 2011
Academic Matters
- 3 AUs will be awarded upon successful completion of this programme
- Students may use these AUs for either their GER-PE (AHSS) or GER-UE
- Certificate (by BLCU) will be awarded upon sucessful completion of programme

Basic Requirements
- NTU undergraduates
- Graduate after April 2011
- At least a pass in "O levels" Chinese Language
- Prior performing experience in Chinese Arts, Crafts and Culture, for example, 相声,快板、唱歌、跳舞、华乐、武术、杂技、书法、绘画、剪纸 等 (Chinese Dance, Martial Arts, Music, Calligraphy, Acrobatics, painting etc)
- Students with proficiency (of the above mentioned) at leisure level may also be considered
Selection criteria
- Priority will be given to Singaporeans
- Priority will be given to final year students who have not participated in any overseas programme
- Selection will be based on meritocracy and school recommendation (if necessary)
- Students with prior performing experience (under Basic Requirements)

- This programme is not offered for the current semester
