How to apply for operation of food stall in NTU? 

When there is a vacant food outlet, advertisement for lease of stall will be let through open tender application in the Government Electronic Business (GeBIZ) portal at www.gebiz.gov.sg. It is an open system and applicants participating in the tender will be appraised based on the evaluation criteria set out in the tender before a successful tenderer is selected.

How to lease space for operating retail shops and outlets in NTU?

When there is a vacancy for shop space, advertisement for lease of setting up retail outlet will be let through tender applications in the Government Electronic Business (GeBIZ) portal www.gebiz.gov.sg. All applicants participating in the tender will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set out in the tender before a successful tenderer is selected.
   

Events Support

What types of support are available in FPM for events and activities organized by staff or students?

Activities and events organized on campus by students bodies must be approved by Student Affairs’ Office or the School overseeing it. In FPM, there is an event team that will offer technical advice on the use of facilities, placement of signage, crowd control, carpark and traffic arrangements. For other general enquiries on event support, you can write to Mr Liew Sai Weng at swliew@ntu.edu.sg for assistance.

On Campus Accommodation

Where to find information on campus accommodation, the types of units available and their rental charges? 

Accommodation services for NTU faculty members and their families are provided by Staff & Graduate Accommodation (SGA) Division in FPM. For assistance on housing matters, you can  check out on the common enquiries posted at www.ntu.edu.sg/fpm/aboutus/sga/faq or call 6790 5189.

Car Park Facility

Can students apply for season parking?

Students are allowed to apply for season parking only at covered car park. Reservation at open car park does not apply to students.

What are the charges for season parking?

The cost of season parking is $90.00 per month at covered lots and $65.00 per month at open lots.

Where can I find a copy of the season parking application form?

Application forms can be downloaded at http://www.ntu.edu.sg/fpm/forms/Pages/default.aspx

What are the rates for hourly parking? 

Monday to Friday
5.00 am to 5.30 pm            $1.00 per hr ($3.00 for more than 2 hours)   

Beyond the above operating hours, it will be free parking.

Lost and Found

Where can I hand over a found item?

You can return it to the Student Affairs Office (SAO) at Student Services Centre. After office hours, you may hand it over to the Campus Security Office at North Spine, Block NS1-1, Basement 1. You can find more information at the NTU Website under QuickLinks (Lost and Found).

Where can I make a report of my lost item in campus?

You can make a report at Student Affairs Office at Student Services Centre or at Campus Security Division, North Spine, Block NS1-1, Basement 1.

Who will have custody of found items found in NTU?

All found items will be handed to SAO for their custody.

Can I report to the Police concerning any criminal activity that occur on campus?

You can report to Police direct but please keep Campus Security informed at its Hotline at 67904777.

Who can I report to concerning noise pollution on campus?

You can report the incident to Campus Security.

What are the operating hours of Campus Security?

Campus Security operates 24 hours on campus.

Who can assist if I saw a snake or other creatures?

You can report it to Campus Security who will contact the Pest Control Team.

Who can assist me if I have left my security card, key or valuables in a room that is locked by electronic security?

You can seek assistance from your office/ hall or contact Campus Security.

Traffic Enforcement

Why is my car being wheel-clamped?

You have parked your car in either a yellow reserved lot, or along the access to Fire Hardstanding Area, or any other place where the wheel-clamped sign is displayed. The release fee for a wheel-clamped car is $50.

Where is the proper place to park my car without being wheel-clamped?

You should park your car in white lots.

Why am I issued with a warning for illegal parking?

This is your first parking offence for illegal parking.

Why am I issued with a $30 fine?

If you have been issued with a warning previously for a parking offence, you will be fined $30 for your second parking offence.

How can I report any illegal parking of vehicles? 

You can report to the Fault Reporting & Security Hotline at 67904777 concerning any illegal parking of vehicles in NTU.

My car is being clamped, can you release the clamp?

You need to come to our Campus Security office at North Spine, Block NS1, Basement 1 to pay the $50 release fee before the clamp can be released. Payment is only by Nets or Cashcard.
