Overview of Programme
The MSc (Photonics) programme provides training suitable for modern photonics industries. This programme is intended for students, electrical engineers, integrated circuit designers, material scientists, R&D managers, and market planners who seek an understanding of the current approaches and emerging directions in photonics. It is suitable for engineers who are currently active or anticipate future involvement in the field.

Curriculum structure
Candidates are required to complete four core and four optional courses as well as a research project on which a dissertation must be submitted, or four core courses, five elective courses and an independent study module. Each course consists of 39 hours of lectures.
