Project EDUWIN - Education Wireless Integrated Network is a collaborative effort by Institutions of Higher Learning (IHL) to have their wireless LAN hotspots linked up. This allows NTU staff, students and alumni to have FREE wireless remote access to NTU and Internet with ease through VPN (Virtual Private Network) when they are working from other IHL and NTU One-North campus.

Getting Started
You'll find these 802.11b/g or Wi-Fi hotspots mostly in public accessible locations like the canteens, study areas, etc.
After associating with the host's wireless LAN (using the appropriate Network Name or SSID), you'll need only to launch your VPN (Virtual Private Network) to get connected back to the NTU campus network to have FREE Internet access.

At present 9 IHLs - NTU, NUS, SMU, NIE, NP, NYP, RP, TP and SP are already "EDUWIN-ready". To get started on your roaming journey, please click here. To setup your laptop to use VPN, please check out the quick start guide here.
