Event Registration System

If you want to let people sign up for your event on your website, but don't know how to write a program for it, fret not. As long as the event is an official one sanctioned by your student club or office, and you are an existing NTU student or staff, you can use this Event Registration System (ERS). The system was developed by CITS in 2003 to make it easy for people to add a registration system to their website.

Frequently Asked Questions for ERS

  • What is ERS?
ERS is a web-based event registration system that does not require installation of any software on your computer. All you need is just a web browser and an Internet Connection. It is simple to use and you do not need to know how to do any programming.
In addition to merely configuring registration forms, ERS allows the organiser to
    • Set registration periods
    • Set a quota for the number of participants
    • Take attendance
    • View participant information which is downloadable to Excel for mail merges, creation of name tags, etc
    • Email participants
    • And more!

In addition, the system is connected to the University's databases, thus assuring organisers of the reliability of the participants' information.
