A Department Teamsite is a central workspace at a departmental level, which allows access only by staff of that department. One of the main advantages is that it allows people within the department or across-departments to collaborate and interact, for the purpose of working towards a common goal or task. This site also helps to facilitate common business processes like document review and approval, and issue tracking by utilising the out-of-box workflow processes.
Collaborative tools like surveys, discussions, tasks and documents are also available in Department Teamsite. Please refer to the features mentioned in MySite.
How to create Department Teamsite
For creation of Department Teamsites, please submit request to CITS Helpdesk.
How to share documents in Teamsite
You can share your documents in Teamsite to your colleagues, friends or even working partners from outside of NTU. Only people you specify will be able to access the documents, and not the whole world, as with the previous version of TeamSite and MySite.
