A Department Teamsite is a central workspace at a departmental level, which allows access only by staff of that department. One of the main advantages is that it allows people within the department or across-departments to collaborate and interact, for the purpose of working towards a common goal or task. This site also helps to facilitate common business processes like document review and approval, and issue tracking by utilising the out-of-box workflow processes.
