Abundant personal computers are available within campus to facilitate easy access to Internet and campus e-services. These computers are accessible by all student, staff of the University, including students and staff of NIE. Find out where these Internet-ready computers are located around campus here.

In addition to the above personal computers, many computing laboratories in the various Schools are equipped with personal computers for use by thier students and staff (please check the respective School's website for details). Altogether the University has over 20,000 networked personal computers for the use by students and staff around the campus!

Other computing facilities available in NTU include high-performanace computer clusters in the various researh centres for heavy computational project works and mass e-learning services.

Learning Pod @ South Spine
We have 40 networked personal computers housed in a centrally located, state-of-the-art Learning Pod.  In it, there are also 4 discussion rooms with LCD display, and open learning spaces with configuarable furniture and power points. These facilities are all free for use by students and staff. Printing facilities (chargeable) are also available here.

Libraries
There are also over 500 personal computers in our Libraries which facilitate easy access to all Library's digital resources as well as abundant resources on the world-wide web. Printing facilities (chargeable) are also available here.  

Hall PC Rooms
Every hall of residence on the campus has a PC room equipped with 8 or more networked personal computers for use by its residents. Please check with the respective hall's general office where the PC room is located. Each dormitory room in residential halls is also equipped with computer network access points. The common areas like TV rooms and dinning halls also have wirelss coverage.

NTU Campus Grid
Grid computing has emerged as a new field in the world of computing, allowing us the flexibility to make full use of the University's super-computing facilities and high capacity storage systems available in the various research centers and laboratories.
