IT Connect is an electronic newsletter jointly published by the Centre for IT Services, Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, and NIE Computer Services Centre. Computing News
In the initial years, this newsletter was named Computing News and was printed quarterly by the then Computer Centre (CC) since August 1985.
Ø Print copies of the back issues up to Issue No. 52 (2001, Jan-Mar) can be obtained from the Acquisitions Dept., Lee Wee Nam Library during office hours.
IT Zone
Computing News was renamed as IT Zone in January 2000, following a change in name of the publishing office from Computer Centre to Centre for IT Services (CITS) in 1999.
Ø Archived issues of Computing News and IT Zone in PDF format (requires Adobe Reader) from year 1992 to 2003 (Apr-Jun) are available at this site.
IT Zone was published entirely online since 2001 (Apr-Jun) issue 53, and became a monthly publication since October 2003.
Ø Online archived issues of IT Zone from year 2003 to 2009 are available at this website.
IT Connect
In January 2010, IT Zone was replaced by IT Connect and became a joint publication of the Centre for IT Services, Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, and NIE Computer Services Centre. Read more from 'History' on the left menu.
