Employers of NTU Graduates

Well-rounded, tech savvy and relevant, NTU graduates are the preferred choice of employers. 98% of graduates from the Class of 2007 found jobs within 4 months of graduation.

Well-trained to lead in the global high-tech economy, 2007 NTU graduates were not only sought-after in the global job market but also paid, on average, a mean gross monthly salary of S$2,900, which represents a 7.8% increase over the S$2,690 drawn by the previous graduating class.

Among the top 20% of NTU graduates, starting salaries are even higher, averaging S$3,802 a month, with salaries of top earners as high as S$15,000 a month.

Many NTU graduates received not only one job offer upon application, but multiple ones. About two-thirds of the Class of 2007 received multiple job offers.

9 in 10 Nanyang Business School (NBS) graduates landed jobs even before they graduated; this figure rose to 95% a month after graduation. 97% of engineering graduates received job offers before or within four months of graduation. In particular, 99% of Civil Engineering graduates and 100% of the pioneer batch of Bioengineering graduates received job offers before or within four months of graduation.

One in two received offers even before their final examinations and one-third received offers 6 months before their final examinations.

Besides a broad-based education that exposes the students to research, industry-relevant internships and international exposure through global immersion, NTU students benefit from the university's unique residential experience, as well as extensive career services offered on campus. Not surprisingly, more than 70% of the Class of 2007 were snapped up by the private sector.
