Objective
The objective of the NTU Sports Grant is to give due recognition to outstanding sportsmen/sportswomen who have contributed towards the promotion of sports in the University, and whose performances bring credit to the University and the nation.
Administration
This Grant is administered by Nanyang Technological University.
Value of Grant
The value of each Grant shall be S$2,000.00 for one academic year.
Number of Grant
The Selection Committee shall award 2 Grants each year.
Eligibility
Only matriculated/registered students of the University are eligible to apply. The applicant must have represented the University in sports, and must obtain at least an ordinary pass in his/her academic performance during the period under review. He/she should not be a graduating student in his/her respective course of study.
Applicants who are already receiving other sports scholarship/grant in excess of the grant amount shall not be eligible to apply.
Period under Review
The period under review will cover the preceding academic year (June to June).
Application Procedure
All applications must be made on prescribed forms. They could be either obtained from the General Office of the Sports & Recreation Centre, or downloaded from this website. Applicants who have represented the nation must ensure that Section B of the form is endorsed by the respective National Sports Associations. Completed forms are to be submitted through the respective sports officers.
