Description of Classes

HATHA BASIC
 A mixed level class open to practitioners from those new to yoga to those looking to deepen the core of their practice
 Students will experience poses designed to stretch and release the spine as well as tone and stretch the body
 Students will practice poses and breathing techniques to calm and restore the central nervous system in a way that is effortless
 Adjustments and modifications of classical postures will allow students of all levels to experience the benefits of yoga regardless of strength or flexibility
 Each class will engage the space for awareness and relaxation to honor the heart of yoga

HATHA FLOW
 This links the postures practiced in a regular Hatha class into a sequence of movements that “flow” with the breath in a more vigorous series
 Involves moving from one posture to another with very little rest in between and creates a strong cardiovascular workout

YOGA THERAPY
 Uses gentle postures, breathing practices, relaxation techniques and meditation to help restore body/mind balance and promote natural healing

YOGA LATES
is a holistic form of exercise that combines the breathing techniques of yoga with the body movements of Pilates
