Sports Partnership Promotion Programme (SPPP) 

The Sports Partnership Promotion Programme (SPPP) is an initiative by the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) aimed at generating more sporting opportunities through the support and assistance of partners' and service providers' events or programmes that are open for public participation.

Organising sports groups are strongly advised to approach the NTU Sports & Recreation Centre for assistance, especially for new ad-hoc sporting events.

Application
Please submit all sports event proposals (ad-hoc included) with complete detailed budget breakdown to Mr Darren Chua at darrenchua@ntu.edu.sg for review and approval.  Submission of the application must be sent three months before commencement of event.

Note: All proposed (ad-hoc) sports events must promote mass participation at any competition level and at a target audience.

Result of Application
All applicants will be notified of the outcome of the review via email at least 1 week after submission of their event proposals.  In addition, all successful applicants will receive the following:

1.  Event guidelines and acknowledgement details of SSC
2.  Template for post event report
3.  Any other relevant information

Note on Acknowledgement Details of SSC:
"Support from SSC, Singapore Pools and Singapore Totalisation Board should be appropriately acknowledged on all publicity materials in the format as follows :

SSC should be acknowledged by the words "In Support of Sports Promotion" while Singapore Pools and Singapore Totalisation Board should be acknowledged as "Partners in Sports".

Post-Event Report
A soft-copy format and hard copy of the post event report with the complete income & expenditure statement must be submitted to the NTU Sports & Recreation Centre within two weeks upon completion of event. Please also include all receipts and event photographs that are to be saved into a CD and submit them to:

Disbursement of Grants
The Singapore Sports Council will evaluate the reports and disburse the supported amount recommended by NTU Sports & Recreation Centre. All disbursements from SSC will be made by NTU Sports & Recreation Centre to the respective clubs/societies. Ad-hoc events organised by clubs/societies without any bank accounts, will be advised separately.
