Approval of Trip

Seek approval of trip by submitting your trip proposal to the officer in charge of your sport/club/society. |

Proposal must be submitted at least 3 months in advance of trip. |

Proposal should include the following documents: |

Travel Updates from Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Before Departing for Approved Trip

Purchase Travel Insurance |
|
Compulsory to purchase travel insurance with minimum coverage of $200,000 that includes medical evacuation and sports injuries.

Group Travel Insurance
Name of Policy Holder NTU Sports and Recreation Centre and Student Affairs Office on the Lives of Students, Faculty and University-Sanctioned Volunteers and Participants
Policy Provider ACE INSURANCE
Period of Insurance 16 July 2011 (12.01am) to 15 July 2012 (12.00am)

Register with the MFA eRegister System |
|
- A free service provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to all Singapore citizens who travel overseas.
- The information provided will allow MFA and our Embassies or Consulates to contact and render assistance to you during an emergency or crisis.
- Groups with non-Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents shold also e-register. MFA will try to assist where possible but they advise that these students should also register with their own embassies for their own safety as MFA is restricted by the Geneva Convention on handling certain issues for non-citizens.

After Returning from Approved Trip

Submit Overseas Trip Report / Claims to officer-in-charge of your sport/club/society. |
| 2. |
Report must be submitted within 3 weeks after the trip. |
