Graduate students are welcome to participate in social and community activities organized by the various students’ clubs and societies besides activities organized by University offices including Student Affairs Office and its International Student Centre, Counselling Centre and Sports & Recreation Centre . Trip to Sungei Buloh
Members of NTUGSC started off the new year with a visit to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve on 9 Jan 2011. More than 90 students join us for this exciting outing to the reserve.

Trip to Pulau Ubin
On 23 Oct 2010, 66 graduate students and family members went on a day-trip to Pulau Ubin, organized by the NTU Graduate Students’ Club. The group had a fun-filled day exploring the island and experiencing Singapore as it would have been 30-40 years ago.


Bowling at Jurong Superbowl
Over 40 graduate students met up on 1 Oct 10 for a bowling session at Jurong Superbowl, organized by the NTU Graduate Students’ club. Free return bus rides were provided from NTU to Jurong Superbowl for all participants. In response to the positive feedback, the club will be organising another similar event in the near future.



Annual Tea Session with Graduate Students
Over 100 graduate students attended the annual tea session jointly organized by Graduate Studies Office and Student Affairs Office on 2 Sept 2010. The NTU Graduate Students’ Club was officially launched during this event.
Interaction session for Graduate Student Clubs
Representatives from various graduate student clubs meet up for a fun and interactive session on 6 August 2010 at Wavehouse, Sentosa.



Outing & BBQ at East Coast
This was organised by the SPMS Graduate Student Club on 14 March 2010.

A Visit to the NeWater Visitor Centre
On 12 Dec 09, 86 graduate students and their family members joined us for a visit to the Newater Visitor Centre. Many of them interviewed found the trip to be educational and eye-opening. Two buses load of students and their families had a good time interacting with each other and making new friends.
Mr Vineeth Thachappilly Mukundan, a graduate student from SPMS, was very happy to learn that how organized is Singapore in protecting and utilizing its limited water resources.


The Singapore Flyer Experience
On 31 Oct 09, about 150 graduate students and their family members joined us for an excursion to the Singapore Flyer. Many of them interviewed found the trip to be inspiring and eye-opening. Four buses load of students and their families had a good time interacting with each other and making new friends.
Mr Vivek Manoharan, a graduate student from the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, said that "The trip was indeed a memorable and enchanting experience, I should thank you and your great team for organizing the event. I am looking forward for more trips in the future."
