SmartQ utilizes machine learning to reduce wait times at theme parks. An average theme park visitor spends 40% of their time waiting in the queue. SmartQ aims to help every visitor optimize their theme park experience and put their expensive tickets to good use. They do this by utilizing complex algorithms and ML models to deliver a customized itinerary to their users that optimally reorders the sequence of the desired attractions chosen by their users. (Their tests have shown that users will save up to 50% of their time by just following the itinerary instead of choosing to go on rides randomly).

Ada and her team worked created a prototype of a biodegradable Printed Circuit Board (PCB). The biodegradable board serves to reduce environmental impacts of e-waste by allowing easy and environmentally friendly method of breaking down the PCB and extracting reusable electronic components. This project was chosen from Product Design module in UC Berkeley and pitched against other winning projects from other entrepreneural classes in UC Berkeley.
