Apply for Replacement Matriculation Card (for Undergraduate Students)

Please submit your application at StudentLink -> Administrative Matters -> Matriculation Card Replacement. For lost card, please report it at any subject library immediately. 

NTU will reopen its campus services and facilities gradually in alignment with the post-circuit breaker guidelines by the Government.
The application for replacement of matriculation card will resume from 1 July 2020.

Replacement Fee

An application fee of $32.10 (inclusive of GST) must be paid before a new card is printed for you.
This fee is non-refundable even if you subsequently found your lost card and you no longer need a
new card.

You are to return your old card in exchange of your new card during collection as students are not allowed to have more than one card.

Payment Mode

a) Payment via Credit Card

    Application is complete once online payment is successfully made at the secured 
    payment page. You do not need to submit a copy of the Confirmation of Application
    and Payment Page.
b) Payment at One Stop @ SAC via NETS, cash card, cheques, bank draft or cashier’s 
    order. You need to produce an original printed copy (not photocopy because the barcode 
    cannot be scanned) of the Confirmation of Application and Payment Page at
    One Stop @ SAC. This printed copy will be retained by One Stop @ SAC after payment is made. 

    Cheque should be made payable to 'Nanyang Technological University'. If you are sending the
    cheque by mail, please enclose a printed copy of the Confirmation of Application and
    Payment Page to enable us to process the cheque.  

Application of replacement card due to change in name or photo

For change of name, please submit the original deed poll at One Stop @ SAC for verification
5 working days prior to submitting your application for replacement card.

Similarly, if you would like to submit a recent photograph for your replacement card, please
send the softcopy of your passport-sized photograph to 5 working days before
you apply for a replacement card.

This is to give sufficient time for your student record to be updated, otherwise your replacement
card may be printed with your old name or photo. 

Please ensure the photograph submitted meets these requirements:

  • 35mm wide by 45mm high without border and taken within the last three months;
  • taken full face without headgear, unless the applicant habitually wears a headgear in accordance with religious or racial customs. The headgear must not hide the applicant's facial features;
  • the facial image must be between 25mm and 35mm from chin to crown;
  • coloured photograph taken against plain white background with a matt or semi-matt finish; and
  • the image must not contain any shadow in the background.


Card Collection

Once your card is ready for collection at One Stop @ SAC, an email notification will be sent to your
NTU email account. Processing time is between 5 to 10 working days after payment has been made. Please produce your existing matriculation card/ NRIC (Singaporeans, Singapore PR or Malaysians)/ passport (other nationalities) for verification of identity when collecting your replacement matriculation card. You may collect your new card in exchange of the old card but you are not allowed to keep both cards.

Faulty Card

If your matriculation card is faulty (ie. faulty chip for door access, or e-wallet for cashless payment), please do not apply for replacement card online. Instead, please have your card checked at:
• One Stop @ SAC - for faulty Nets FlashPay card i.e. the new card issued from AY2016-17
