Centre for Educational Development (CED) 

The Centre for Educational Development (CED) supports the University in teaching and learning. It's mission is to advance the quality of educational development to significantly enhance student learning and professional teaching in the community. The Centre's vision is to be a provider of choice with a national and international reputation for leadership in advancing the development of higher learning and blended education.
 
The University's academic learning environment is managed and supported by CED. This includes:
 
a) edveNTUre, NTU's eLearning Platform for anytime, anywhere learning;
b) edUtorium, NTU's Faculty Development Initiative for the development of effective learning and teaching practices to provide quality education;
c) Certified Education Centre (CEC) and NTU and Blackboard collaboration to provide Bb training c) Audio-visual Support Services to facilitate large- and small-groups' learning; and
d) Design and Media Support Services to provide media-rich resources for the enhancement of teaching and learning.
 
To promote professional teaching in the educational community within South East Asia, CED offers regular training workshops, seminars and conferences as public events. The training website provides programme details and a calendar of events.
